The winery here has been called Chateau de la Negly since 1807. The vineyards here are situated on the hillsides of the mountain or massif ‘La Clape’ near the town of Narbonne in the South of France. With views of the Mediterranean Sea the vines are planted into sandy limestone soil and are drenched in sunlight. There is a sea breeze ‘La Brise Marine’ to cool things off. The wine is made of only 2 white grapes Roussanne and Bourboulenc. Most of the wine is aged in tank for 3 months with 2% in oak barrel. Beautiful pale color with aromas of citrus and almonds. Dry and fresh on the palate with great acidity. Some notes of orchard fruits and mineral dust. Drink this beauty with broiled fish with a little lemon or perfect for light hors d’ouevres and goat cheese. – Jean-Pierre Charlebois (JP) Martin Wine Cellar Fine Wine Consultant

Tasting Notes
Spectacular on all accounts... amazing?notes of kirsch, cassis, chocolate,?and spice. It hits the palate with a full-bodied, decadently styled profile that carries masses of tannin, huge concentration, and a blockbuster finish.
