With France, the Italians share the title of being the largest wine producer in the world. They represent 1/3 of the world?s wine production.?Italy has a huge diversity of soils, grape varietals, and wine styles. The Mediterranean sunshine, the mountainous cool air currents and sea breezes are normal for the Italian climate. Italian vineyards are located close to coastlines, on the foothills, with slopes ideal for growing grapes. The high altitude and the cool climates give each wine region its own macroclimate that allows Italy to produce a variation of wines.

Tasting Notes
Vieux Telegraphe?s Brunier Family is the proud parent of Pigeoulet En Provence. The Pigeoulet En Provence blanc and rouge are two delightful wines, crafted from classic Rhone Valley varietals and produced in a traditional style.? Planted in 1995, the Pigeoulet Blanc is a blend of roughly equal parts Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, and Clairette grown on soils rich in clay and limestone.? Beautifully crafted with nice mid-palate weight, gorgeous notes of tree orchard and stone fruit and succulent minerality.
